AuthorSmith is designed to be your one-stop content management system for all mediums such as Web, Wireless and Intranet.

AuthorSmith is designed and built to easily integrate with other internet applications. The contents managed through AuthorSmith can be used for a myriad of different purposes. (e.g. All contents can be exported into XML and be used in other applications.)

Through the use of templates, the contents can be used to power Websites, WAPsites and Intranets.

AuthorSmith is built-on a Linux Platform and uses PHP/MySQL. All pages are pre-generated from the database, serving 2 functions:-

        (i) 2-10 times faster than if they were to be dynamically-generated
        (ii) No direct access to the database from the viewer, making the contents of the database more secure.
