The Railway industry has a history of over 200 years and is currently a major infrastructure connecting cities across the world. Operationally, there are still many antiquated means of communication that have survived and desperately need to be updated. Ground staff, controllers, conductors and operators are often still using paper-based methods as a communication means. In this project, Hodfords created an app that allows all the various parties in the industry to report faults, share information, sending out work assignments, track potential dangers and a plethora of other features to make the communication drastically more efficient.
